The Ballston-Virginia Square Partnership is a public private organization
committed to promoting and enhancing the unique character of Ballston
by incorporating urban sophistication into the intimacy and charm
of a village. The Partnership is defined by its membership—a
diverse and dynamic association of real estate professionals, corporations,
and business owners, associations, and residents, who share a common
interest in shaping the Ballston-Virginia Square sector. Whether
you are marketing tenant prospects, interesting in acquiring up
to the minute information about the Ballston-Virginia Square market,
or interested in expressing your concerns to county and state political
leadership, the Ballston-Virginia Square Partnership will give you
formal and informal access.
The
Partnership has over 200 corporate, academic, real estate, residential,
association, retail and government members, all working to ensure
that our community is an unqualified success. We have diverse committees
focused on such issues as Urban Environment, Real Estate Marketing,
Public Safety, and
special events such as The Art Market, Farmers Markets, Summer Concerts in Welburn Square, Broadway in Ballston, Holiday Tree Lighting, the Taste of Arlington, Arlington Real Estate Showcase, Mid-Atlantic Shamrock Festival, and Blocktoberfest. In addition, the Ballston Partnership strives
to resolve basic constituent concerns such as the implementation
of a county Public Art Master Plan, a corridor-wide urban walkway,
and the integration of new office and residential members.
The
initiatives of the Partnership and its committees directly influence
the bottom line. Business and residential constituents enjoy the
opportunity of creating the environment in which they live, learn,
shop, work and play.
